The arena was originally built to the Winter Olympics in 1952, but has been renewed (latest in 2003) and has all modern facilities. It is the home rink of one of Norway's best icehockey teams - Vålerenga.

Practice arena: Jordal Ungdomshall
Address: Jordalsgt. 12 Postno. NO-0657 Oslo. Indoor ice-rink built 1989 with ice surface of 60x30m. Air-conditioned and heated.

Both rinks are situated in the same building complex (see map). Distance from the hotel in the center of Oslo to the rinks is approx. 4 km (see route). The parking place has GPS coordinates 10°47'00"E/59°54'35"N.
